Yesterday - today - tomorrow: the history of KOLARZ

KOLARZ first saw the light of day in 1918, during the final days of the monarchy. In the Josefstadt district of Vienna, Hanns Kolarz founded a company manufacturing exquisite lamp shades and light fittings for the city's population. KOLARZ lighting products have been lovingly hand produced ever since – by a family company that stands for quality and originality just as much now as it did then.
